Dear School Administrator,

PPARTS of Oklahoma, Association is proud to say that we have successfully completed our first year by achieving the goals we set during the summer months while going through the process of becoming our own non-profit organization.

It is now time to begin the membership process once again.  For those of you who have walked through this year with us, you know the hard work it has been to write and file all the papers with the Internal Revenue Service and set up our accounting process so that we will have a strong foundation for years to come. You also know that we enlarged our Sixth Annual Arts Festival from a one day event to a two day event and added a Cabaret Dinner Theatre as a fund-raiser. We are hoping to complete the goals that we set by offering a professional development opportunity for the teachers.

For those of you who have been members this year (during our “Start Up” year), we would like to THANK YOU for your confidence and patience as we stumbled through. For those of you who have not participated with us in the past; we hope that you will give us a try and see that the benefits of collaboration together by sharing resources and events will truly enhance the excitement of all the arts related programs in your school. We hope to offer many new benefits during the next school year that will make your membership dollars seem like the best spent monies all year.

In our first strategic planning session, the committee agreed that we will host two professional development opportunities, begin the process of starting our own choral society, host a significant field trip for all the schools (we are looking to take groups to Norman to the “Little Prince” Opera)and continue improving and growing our annual arts festival.


In surveying the scale of membership fees, we have concluded that the percentage of incremental increase was not equitable for all; therefore, we have reconsidered the membership cost per school. I believe you will find that the following is feasible for most all groups participating.

The following represents the new membership fee scale:

0-150 $ 150.00 451-600 $ 550.00
151-300 $ 250.00 601-750 $ 700.00
301-450 $ 400.00 751-900 $ 850.00

Two changes that you might want to note as well. If you are not considering membership in PPARTS for this next year, but would like to participate in the arts festival; the new fee for festival alone will be $75.00 Service charge and $1.00 per student participating charge. Note: you might know how labor intensive the arts festival preparations are to organize, and the Board of Trustees have agreed that this is a far better cost for managing the festival.

The second change relates to our “Homeschool” groups and families. If you are participating with PPARTS as a group, your leader will follow the same fee scale as the schools do based on enrollment of your program. If you are participating in PPARTS as a family, we are assessing a $50.00 yearly fee for the whole family. Note: You may not feel that this cost is equitable in regards to the scale above, but please note that we must mail the same amount of mailings to one family as we do to large groups and the cost to PPARTS is greater to service the one family versus the group.


Attached is a form for you to fill for our data base. Please send a check with payment for your next year’s membership as well.  The information you provide for us is the vital means that we use all year long to communicate. Please take the time to completely fill out each category.
